Riverside Park, 1730 Riverside Rd., about 3 miles southeast of Central City on the Platte River, has a swimming pool with slides, tennis courts, ball diamonds, horseshoes, a playground and picnic grounds, and the Riverside Park Dance Pavilion, opened on June 14, 1940, and listed on the National Register in 1998.
