Twin Lakes Wildlife Management Area is about 2½ miles north. Pleasant Dale is on Central Time.

History

Pleasant Dale was laid out in 1883 and named by Capt. J. H. Culver of Milford for its setting in the valley. The population peaked at 259 in 1980.
