The Garfield County Historical Museum, 737 H St. in Burwell, fills more than 30 rooms of a 1905 building that has been a home, a church and a hospital: a historical library, a surgery suite, a sod-house kitchen, a country-school room and a butter-factory display, with a general store and log cabin on the grounds. Open May–October, Monday–Friday 1–5; November–April by appointment.
