The Central Park fountain at 10th Street and Niobrara Avenue in Alliance was built in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corps and renovated in 1988; it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990 and runs a light-and-water show on summer evenings. Central Park also has sunken gardens, a conservatory and the Sallows Military Museum.
