About Breslau
Breslau is an unincorporated community on US 20 at 541st Avenue in northern Pierce County, about 4½ miles east of Plainview and 5 miles west of Osmond. Little remains of the town.
History
Breslau grew up on the railroad built through northern Pierce County in 1890, later part of the Great Northern. Settled mostly by Germans, it was named for Breslau in Prussia, now Wrocław, Poland. Its post office opened in 1911 and closed in 1935.
