The Tarnov Heritage Museum, 309 3rd St. in Tarnov, is in the 1911 St. Michael’s parish school (closed in 1961) and is kept by the St. Michael’s Historical Society. It tells the story of the Polish settlers and of the night in August 1943 when Army bombers dropped practice bombs on the village, and it shows one of the bombs. Open by appointment; admission by donation.
