The Seven Valleys Museum, 102 N. Grand Ave. in Callaway, is run by the Seven Valleys Historical Society, which bought the building, once a doctor’s office over a mortuary, in 1970. Exhibits include arrowheads and mammoth bones, military, railroad, drugstore and country-store rooms and a hair wreath, with an annex across the street. The society also cares for Custer County’s first courthouse in Morgan Park and the historic Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Open during village events and by call, (308) 870-2107.
