Sacramento-Wilcox WMA covers about 2,320 acres of wetland, prairie and woodland about 2¼ miles west of Wilcox and southeast of Funk. It was the first Rainwater Basin wetland bought by Nebraska Game and Parks, in 1940, and was a giant Canada goose breeding site from 1967 to 1997. It has restored wetlands with water-control structures and a handicapped-accessible hunting blind; the southeast corner is a posted refuge.
