Bader Memorial Park, 898 Bader Park Rd., about 2.5 miles south of Chapman on the Platte River, covers about 270 acres with five fishing lakes, a sand swimming beach, about 6 miles of hiking trails, picnic shelters, a wildlife viewing station and a trail to the river; about 80 acres at the west end are kept as a natural area. The campground has 35 RV sites with electric and 15 tent sites, a dump station and showers, with reservations online. Every vehicle needs a Bader Park annual or day pass. Phone (308) 986-2522.
